Along with me and my millinery jewellers, bag makers, artists and designers all open their doors and invite the Melbourne public to enjoy the evenings. I really enjoyed this commission from Annalise, the hat was designed especially for her pretty dress and both designer and client were happy with the outcome. She wore it to the NT Cup last week and apparently spent the day enjoying the compliments that came her way, no wonder!!!

This year I have had the very good fortune of being invited to submit some hats for a fabulous little book called "I Just Love That Hat" by Robyn Johnson. It is part of a trio, the others are called "I Just Love That Bag" and "I Just Love Those Shoes".

The book is full of photographs of gorgeous hats and just the right gift for the fashion conscious in your life. There will also be a website called, yes "I Just Love That...." which I will keep you posted about, and talk of a launch at the Australian Racing Museum at Federation Square in August; just in time for Melbourne's spring fashion week in September.
