| Once I got myself acquainted with Etsy I am now on Facebook too, the last time I was there it was a personal entry and I gave it up because I felt like I was wasting my time.... Now I am there with hats, much more fun. If you are a Facebook user I would welcome you as a Facebook friend. I will use it to give updates on what happens here at Serena Lindeman.http://www.facebook.com/pages/Melbourne-Australia/Serena-Lindeman/209633820913 |

Here is a link to the site http://handmaiden.typepad.com well worth a visit. The next Marche Rouge is planned for Thursday 11th, Friday 12th & Saturday 13th February. To be reminded of the sale event contact me through the contact page & mention Marche Rouge & I will remind you of it at the beginning of February. |

| This video is the sweetest thing I have seen in a long time. It features yours truly along with Lin Tobias, Peter O'Connor & Fiona Griffiths. It was created by a very talented young woman named Hester Thompson Brown. You can watch it by following this link to youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1d5Tu8Fqic or just go to youtube and enter Nicholas Building & it will come up. Enjoy! |

Handmade in Melbourne |
|---|
| Handmade in Melbourne is a great little guide to 200 of Melbourne's makers in a wide range of media. There are too many categories to list here, of course the one I like the best is Millinery & I am delighted to tell you that I am included. If you are interested in accessing items that are well designed, made by hand & produced in limited quantities or one off then I can recommend this book. I have copies for sale in the studio for the recommended price of $29.95. The Nicholas Building open studios 2009 will be Thursday 27th August and Friday 28th August. Many of the artesans who are opening their studios for that event are featured in Handmade in Melbourne, my studio will be open and I will be showcasing cute hair accessories, new season spring racing millinery and some end of season bargains. This event is a great oportunity to gain some insight into this wonderful building and its tennants. Early Christmas presents & self indulgent shopping come to mind. |
